CONTROLOGY is the whole body system created by Joseph Pilates. Contrology is defined by Pilates himself as βcomplete coordination of the body, mind, and spiritβ. Pilates developed a system of exercises which were intended to strengthen the human mind and body, he believed that mental and physical health were interrelated. Our classes are a complete body system on the floor. Incorporating props and breathing techniques for a full range of movement.
Contrology Core - Each class is designed to help build your confidence and stability from your core outwards. A mix of fitness and deep breathing techniques to centre & strengthen; Suitable for All Levels.
Contrology Flow - This class addresses the entire body, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and creating functional strength through rhythmic movement sequences; Coordinating movement, breath and mental focus. Suitable for All Levels.
Contrology Stretch - Lengthening via pilates based movements enables long term results in flexibility. Sequences focus on invigorating the connective tissue to feel light, lithe and long in the spine. Suitable for All Levels.
